1820’s regency residence, which had fallen into significant disrepair, prominent in the area with internationally renowned gardens, required careful external conservation works.
Heritage Council supported the grant application made on behalf of the applicants which secured shortfall in funds necessary to allow works proceed. Large format blue Bangor slate were sourced for the roof, to replicate the originals. A lime mortar external render was reapplied in a roughcast finish, with pigmented limewash in terracotta colour, to best compliment the garden surrounds.
