Alterations & extensions to an existing traditional farmhouse, involving reconfiguring the stairs, a new entrance and hallway to the rear of the house, to facilitate removal of cellular rooms and devise an open plan Kitchen-Dining- Living- New Sunroom arrangement, per current living trends, in the main part of the old house.
The new sunroom was located to maximize on sea views to the SouthEast, which along with larger windows to the south of the house has led to what was once a fairly dark interior now is one filled with bright light through the day.
External terraces for relaxation were incorporated, to extend living areas outwards and to better link the internal spaces with the garden outside.
