New house designed on attractive site with mature Scots pine trees overlooking the sea. The massing of the house is broken down to reduce its apparent size, employing single storey wings to the sides and rear incorporating bedrooms on one side and garage/stores on the other, which in turn form an entrance courtyard.
In addition the main body of the house is finished local natural stone with the wings finished in white painted plaster, which with blue grey concrete tiles form a palette of materials that compliment or contrast with each other and with their surroundings, in an attractive manner.
